Shaped by hand and transformed through wood firing, Verdant Well features a richly layered surface of smoky blue-grey, warm beige, earthy ochre, and deep charcoal tones. Its subtly irregular rim and organic form preserve the tactile character of handmade ceramics.

At the center of the cup lies a striking pool of deep emerald green, reminiscent of still water hidden among weathered stone. Surrounded by softly mottled earth tones, this vivid center becomes the quiet focal point of the piece.

Subtle variations in texture, sheen, and color emerge under changing light, revealing the spontaneous character created by flame, ash, clay, and time.

Rather than pursuing mechanical uniformity, this piece celebrates the natural unpredictability of wood firing. Variations in color, surface, and kiln effects make each vessel distinctly individual.

柴火留下的痕跡，在器物表面形成灰藍、土金與深褐交錯的自然層次；略帶不規則的口沿與器形，保留了手工陶器特有的質感與生命力。

杯心深處，一抹濃郁的翠綠如同岩間靜水，在大片溫潤而斑駁的土色之中顯得格外醒目。隨著觀看角度與光線變化，釉面呈現出不同的深淺、肌理與光澤，使整件作品帶有安靜、質樸而原始的氣息。

這件作品並不追求機械式的工整與一致，而是保留柴燒過程中由火、土、灰與時間共同形成的自然痕跡。每一只作品的色澤、窯變與表面肌理皆有所不同，也因此具有不可複製的個性。
