This golden oil-droplet and hare's fur tied-mouth shape tea bowl is crafted by Fei-Yan, Yang.

Tea bowl is the container used in Diancha in Song Dynasty in China. Diancha involved grinding tea leaves into a fine powder, then whisking it with hot water to create a frothy beverage.

Exterior Glaze:

The exterior of this tea bowl features a gradient glaze that transitions smoothly from a deep, warm brown at the base to a golden, honey-like hue towards the rim. The glaze is glossy and there are small, scattered oil-droplet within the glaze, which are more concentrated near the base and gradually disperse towards the top. The rim of the cup is slightly rounded and finished with a metallic sheen, giving it a polished, refined look.

Interior Pattern:

 The interior of the cup mirrors the exterior's warm tones, with a more intense and concentrated coloration. The center of the interior features a dark spot that radiates outward, blending into the golden hues.

Overall Design:

The shape of the cup is tied-mouthe shape, rounded with a slightly flared rim, creating a pleasing and balanced silhouette. The foot of the cup is narrow, lifting the cup slightly off the surface and adding to its elegance. The meticulous application of the glaze and the unique patterning reflect a high level of craftsmanship and artistic vision.
