Rose-Gold Flower Oil-droplet Monk Bowl Shape Cup
A masterpiece crafted by the skilled hands of Guo-Ping, Ji.
The teacup features a monk bowl shape, characterized by its round body that tapers slightly towards a small, stable base.
Exterior Glaze:
The exterior showcases a striking "Floral Carving" (花雕) pattern, characterized by intricate, bubble-like formations. These formations exhibit a harmonious blend of red-wine and iridescent hues, achieved through high-temperature firing at approximately 1300°C.
The glaze transitions smoothly from a deep, rich red-wine color at the base to a more iridescent, multicolored pattern towards the rim, creating a dynamic and visually captivating effect.
Near the base, there are five noticeable glaze drops (釉泪), adding a unique and artistic element to the teacup's design.
Interior Glaze:
The interior is equally mesmerizing, featuring a central pattern surrounded by delicate crackle effects. This central pattern radiates outward, adding depth and complexity to the overall design.
The glaze inside the cup also showcases a range of colors, predominantly red-wine with hints of iridescent blues and purples, creating a visually stunning contrast.
