Let’s take a look at this kiln-transformed patterned Ercai gaiwan, a two-piece set (consisting of a bowl and a lid, without a saucer). It features a Jingdezhen white porcelain body, with colorful patterns created through a 1300°C high-temperature kiln transformation, giving it an understated yet luxurious feel. It’s suitable for brewing various teas such as rock tea, white tea, Dancong, and high-mountain oolong. The capacity is 110-120ml, and the master cup can be paired with either a black porcelain or white porcelain cup of your choice—both would complement it beautifully.
